At 17 years old, Brenden Muir is making a name for himself both in the classroom and on the baseball field at Grand Terrace High School. Currently a Junior, Brenden balances academics and athletics while maintaining a 2.8 GPA and continuing to grow as a dedicated student athlete.

Brenden’s love for baseball began at just 5 years old, and by the age of 9 he had already started competing in travel ball. Over the years, his passion and hard work have helped him become a valuable member of the GTHS Varsity Baseball team, where he plays multiple outfield positions including Center Field, Left Field, and Right Field.

When he is not on the field, Brenden enjoys riding his dirt bike and spending time doing what he loves most outside of baseball.

His dedication to the sport has already led to several memorable accomplishments throughout his high school career. Brenden earned MVP honors during both his Freshman and Sophomore seasons, hit a home run during his Freshman year, and recently added a grand slam during his Junior season.

One of the biggest highlights of his baseball journey came during a game against Kaiser High School, when Brenden delivered key RBIs that pushed the Titans into the lead and helped energize the team.

When asked about the person who motivates him most, Brenden shared heartfelt appreciation for his mother. He said, “My biggest influencer in life is my mom. She has dedicated nothing but her time into my baseball journey every practice, game, and traveling. She is at every game.”

Looking ahead, Brenden hopes to continue playing baseball at the college level and further pursue his dream of competing at the next stage of his athletic career.

A quote Brenden would like to share is, “Every strike brings me closer to the next home run." - Babe Ruth

Brenden also leaves readers with this message, “Keep pushing hard, work always pays off.”

We would like to wish Brenden all the best in his future endeavors. The best is yet to come for this Titan.
