The City of Moreno Valley and its Business & Employment Resource Center (BERC) have partnered with global venture firm and startup accelerator gener8tor to announce the inaugural gBETA Inland Empire pre-accelerator. Powered by gener8tor, the accelerator focuses on early-stage companies working across all industries operating in the Inland Empire region.

gBETA Inland Empire is a free, seven-week, no-equity accelerator program that provides startup founders with concierge coaching and programming, along with access to a large network of mentors, customers, and investors. The program offers a pathway for startups to participate in equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities.

“Partnering with gener8tor and the BERC allows us to create new opportunities for founders right here in Moreno Valley and the greater Inland Empire,” said Moreno Valley Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “This program will give entrepreneurs the tools, connections, and confidence they need to grow their companies and contribute to the region’s economic vitality.”

gener8tor and the City of Moreno Valley will seek startups across Riverside and San Bernardino counties to apply for the accelerator in an effort to support both startups and founders driving innovation in the region. This accelerator is industry agnostic and will consider applications across all sectors. It will follow the curriculum of gener8tor’s global pre-accelerator, gBETA.

As the City of Moreno Valley and the BERC champion early-stage entrepreneurship through the inaugural gBETA Inland Empire program, they are doing more than simply empowering startups — the partnership also aims to lay the groundwork for a broader regional innovation ecosystem. This initiative comes at a pivotal time as the City of Moreno Valley deepens its commitment to building a vibrant startup community and positioning the Inland Empire as a rising hub for innovation and economic opportunity.

Together, the City of Moreno Valley, the BERC, and gener8tor aim to produce world-class early-stage startup programming, creating an environment that will embrace and support founders from the region.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the City of Moreno Valley and the BERC to bring gBETA to the region,” said Vanessa Huerta, gener8tor gBETA Vice President. “We’re excited to hit the ground running and bring truly impactful programming to early-stage founders looking to scale their startups.”

The inaugural gBETA Inland Empire Pre-Accelerator program will begin recruiting startups immediately and will kick off February 6. Startup companies and founders interested in applying or learning more about gBETA Inland Empire or similar gBETA programming and resources are encouraged to visit the gener8tor website.

Founders with questions or interest in applying are encouraged to contact Abdi Sherif, who recently joined gener8tor as the Program Manager for gBETA Inland Empire, at abdi.sherif@gener8tor.com.
